A stunning charcuterie board for two featuring creamy manchego, funky blue cheese, salty prosciutto, sweet figs, and a drizzle of floral honey. It comes together in under 15 minutes and looks like you spent hours planning.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces Manchego cheese, sliced into thin wedges
  • 3 ounces Blue cheese (such as Gorgonzola or Roquefort), crumbled or sliced
  • 4 ounces Prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 3 ounces Salami (such as Genoa or soppressata), sliced
  • 6 to 8 fresh figs, halved
  • 3 tablespoons high-quality honey (such as wildflower or orange blossom)
  • 1/4 cup dried figs or dates, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Marcona almonds or toasted walnuts
  • 1 small baguette, sliced and lightly toasted, or a selection of crackers
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish (optional)
  • Flaky sea salt, for finishing

Instructions

  1. Prep your cheeses. Take the manchego and blue cheese out of the fridge about 15 minutes before serving. Slice the manchego into thin wedges or use a cheese plane to shave it into delicate ribbons. Crumble or slice the blue cheese into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Arrange the meats. Fold the prosciutto slices into loose ribbons or roll them into small rosettes. Place them in a cluster on one side of the board. Lay the salami slices in a separate pile, slightly overlapping them for visual appeal.
  3. Add the fruit. Halve the fresh figs and arrange them cut-side up in a small group. Scatter the dried figs or dates nearby.
  4. Place the cheese. Position the manchego wedges and blue cheese crumbles in different spots around the board, not all together.
  5. Fill in the gaps. Add the almonds or walnuts in small piles around the board. Tuck them between the cheese and fruit to fill any empty spaces.
  6. Drizzle the honey. Pour the honey into a small bowl or ramekin and place it in the center or off to one side. Alternatively, drizzle a little honey directly over the manchego and figs just before serving.
  7. Add the bread or crackers. Fan the baguette slices or crackers along the edge of the board.
  8. Finish with garnish. Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt over the blue cheese and manchego. Tuck a few fresh rosemary sprigs between the ingredients for color and aroma.

Notes

Let cheese sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before serving for best flavor. If prepping ahead, arrange everything except fresh figs and honey up to an hour before serving; cover loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate. Add figs, honey, and bread just before serving. For a dairy-free version, use plant-based cheese. For gluten-free, serve with gluten-free crackers or cucumber rounds.
