A quick and refreshing mocktail made with cranberry juice, ginger beer, and fresh lime, ready in just 5 minutes. Perfect for any occasion, this alcohol-free mule is tart, fizzy, and full of flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces (120 ml) 100% pure cranberry juice (not cocktail blend)
  • 4 ounces (120 ml) ginger beer (not ginger ale)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh lime juice (about 1 medium lime)
  • Ice cubes (large cubes preferred)
  • Fresh or frozen cranberries (for garnish, optional)
  • Lime wheel or wedge (for garnish, optional)
  • Fresh rosemary sprig (for garnish, optional)
  • Mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Fill a mule mug or highball glass almost to the top with ice cubes.
  2. Pour in 4 ounces (120 ml) of 100% pure cranberry juice.
  3. Squeeze in 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of fresh lime juice (about 1 medium lime).
  4. Top with 4 ounces (120 ml) of ginger beer. Pour slowly to preserve carbonation.
  5. Stir gently 3-4 times with a bar spoon or long spoon to combine.
  6. Add garnishes: a few fresh or frozen cranberries, a lime wheel, and/or a rosemary sprig.
  7. Taste and adjust: add more ginger beer if too tart, more lime if too sweet, or a splash of sparkling water if too strong.
  8. Serve immediately within 5-10 minutes for best fizz.

Notes

Chill all ingredients beforehand to prevent ice from melting too quickly. Use fresh lime juice for best flavor. For a party, pre-mix cranberry and lime juice up to 3 days ahead, but add ginger beer just before serving. For a cocktail, add 1.5 ounces (45 ml) vodka or silver tequila.
