A festive Halloween charcuterie board that makes candy corn the star, paired with sharp cheddar, smoked gouda, brie, salami, and crunchy crackers. Ready in 15 minutes, it’s the perfect crowd-pleaser for Halloween parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups candy corn
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 6 oz gouda or smoked gouda, sliced or cubed
  • 1 small wheel brie (about 8 oz)
  • 46 oz salami or prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks or mini pretzels
  • 1 large apple (Granny Smith), sliced thin
  • 1 cup grapes (red or green)
  • 2 cups Halloween-themed crackers
  • ½ cup roasted and salted pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
  • ½ cup dried cranberries or cherries
  • ½ cup dark chocolate pieces
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep the cheese: Take brie out of fridge 30 minutes before assembling. Cut sharp cheddar into ½-inch cubes. Slice gouda into thin triangles or small rectangles. Set aside.
  2. Prep the meat and fruit: Roll salami slices into rosettes. Slice apple thin and toss with lemon juice to prevent browning. Wash and dry grapes.
  3. Place small bowls or ramekins on the board for candy corn and dried cranberries.
  4. Arrange cheese around the bowls, scattering clusters of each type.
  5. Place salami rosettes in empty spaces, near cheddar or gouda.
  6. Fill gaps with Halloween crackers and pretzel sticks.
  7. Scatter apple slices, grapes, pumpkin seeds, and dark chocolate pieces around the board.
  8. Fill bowls with candy corn and dried cranberries. Sprinkle extra candy corn on the board.
  9. Garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours. If refrigerated, let sit 20 minutes before serving.

Notes

Keep candy corn in a separate bowl to prevent it from getting sticky. Let cheese come to room temperature for best flavor. For a kid-friendly version, swap salami for turkey pepperoni or omit meat.
