This easy pumpkin spice cold foam iced coffee is a quick and delicious fall treat made with simple ingredients. It features a light, creamy pumpkin spice cold foam floating on top of bold iced coffee for the perfect cozy sip.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice (whole milk or oat milk work best)
  • 1–2 tablespoons simple syrup or maple syrup
  • Ice cubes (as needed)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons milk of choice (whole milk or 2% works best)
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree (100% pure pumpkin)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Brew a strong cup of coffee and let it cool completely, or pop it in the fridge for 10 minutes.
  2. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour in the cooled coffee, then add the milk and simple syrup. Stir gently to combine.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the heavy cream, 2 tablespoons of milk, pumpkin puree, powdered sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. Whisk together until smooth.
  4. Using a milk frother, whisk the mixture for about 30-45 seconds until it becomes thick and airy. Alternatively, use a mason jar with a tight lid and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  5. Gently pour the cold foam over the back of a spoon onto the top of the iced coffee to help it float.
  6. Sprinkle a tiny pinch of pumpkin pie spice on top of the foam. Serve immediately with a straw.

Notes

Use cold ingredients for best frothing. Don’t over-froth the cream or it will turn into butter. If foam sinks, the coffee base may be too watery. For dairy-free, use full-fat coconut cream and oat milk. Store leftover cold foam in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days; re-froth before using.
