This quick and easy candy corn popcorn bark combines crunchy popcorn, creamy white chocolate, and chewy candy corn for a perfect Halloween treat. With just five ingredients and 15 minutes of active time, it’s a crowd-pleasing snack that kids and adults love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 cups popped popcorn (about 1/2 cup unpopped kernels, or one standard bag of microwave popcorn)
  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • 1 1/2 cups candy corn
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable oil
  • Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Pop the popcorn and spread it in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Remove any unpopped kernels. Let cool for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Place white chocolate chips and coconut oil in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until smooth and glossy.
  4. Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the popcorn. Gently fold with a rubber spatula to coat evenly.
  5. Sprinkle about 1 cup of candy corn over the chocolate-coated popcorn and gently press it in. Scatter the remaining 1/2 cup on top.
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt over the bark. Let set at room temperature for 1-2 hours, or refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  7. Once fully set, break into irregular pieces. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.

Notes

Use fresh popcorn for best crunch. Do not overheat white chocolate; microwave at 50% power in short bursts. For a dairy-free version, use dairy-free white chocolate chips. The two-stage candy corn addition ensures visible pieces on top.
